Milwaukee click wrenches
Milwaukee’s mechanical automotive click wrenches are a late entry into a drawer that already has Craftsman, ICON, and GearWrench. Buy them if the ratchet feel, the engraved scale, and the warranty fit how you already buy Milwaukee hand tools. Do not buy them because the brand makes good saws. A click wrench is a spring and a pawl.
Drive size still rules. 1/2-inch for wheels and large chassis bolts. 3/8-inch for the rest. Inch-pound Milwaukee models, if you find one in the line you are shopping, are for small fasteners — see the inch-pound wrenches.
The M12 FUEL digital torque wrench
This tool has a motor. It is meant to replace a two-step process: run the fastener down, then pick up a hand torque wrench.
